23th to 25th of September – V Latin America Market
Casa da América Latina (CAL), in partnership with the Municipality of Cascais and with the support of Latin American embassies, organizes another edition of the Latin American Market, taking place September 23, 24 and 25, with the novelty of being located this year at FIARTIL – Estoril International Handicraft Fair.
As an example, you can discover Brazilian jewelry made from tree leaves, handmade Mexican shoes or Paraguayan embroidery. You can also try Latin American delicacies, such as empanadas, alfajores, Mexican guacamole or Argentinean grilled dishes, accompanied by yerba mate, pisco sour, caipirinha or mojito.
In the cultural programme, you can also find a varied offer, mirroring the various artistic manifestations of Latin American countries. Starting with Panamanian dance and ending with tango, throughout the 3 days of Mercado we will have Colombian, Mexican, Venezuelan or Dominican dance, Cuban, Brazilian or Chilean music, in addition to various workshops on Latin American sounds and cuisine.
